Happy Fall!

Well it's finally fall. If you're like me, this season change snuck up on you and you're a little behind on decorating.  If you're looking for an EASY halloween wreath, look no further!

First- take a wreath form of any kind and make it orange.-- I used a straw wreath and wrapped orange satin ribbon around it to cover it. You could also use fabric or paint.

Next- wrap the wreath in black lace

Finally- jazz it up with halloween inspired picks from the craft store and a black bow.

Enjoy :)

Rosette Book Pages Wreath

One of my all time favorite crafts is my book pages wreath.  While surfing for the perfect wreath to make I came across a great tutorial at Under The Table and Dreaming. Warning: This project is quite labor intensive but more than worth it!

First I made about a million rosettes!
I preferred the look of gluing them on in rows.
This gives the wreath clean lines and makes it look more polished in my opinion.

TA-DA!

It's hanging in our entry-way.  I decided it needed something extra, so some feathers and a ribbon rosette did the trick.

These wreaths are also out of book pages, but different techniques that I made for family members.  Which one is your favorite?

here we go...

In an effort to stay sane during PA school I've recently started doing small crafts and projects around the house to break up my study time.  Although it's probably not a good idea to overly distract myself, I've found soo much joy in making things.  Crafts and projects are my new found hobby, and seeing the things I make come together is so fulfilling!  So with this blog I hope to chronicle my life as a newlywed, PA school student, and all the projects in between.
